Direction Meze at Karine and Yvan Caussel’s, oyster producers on the Thau basin. You will be welcomed by Karine, who is passionate about her profession and will give you a guided tour of the site. It will introduce you to the easy technique of opening oysters and will deliver you some recipes of which it has the secret to accommodate them.
Lunch of shellfish on the edge of the pond of Tau, oyster parks at your feet.
In the afternoon, departure towards Frontignan. Muscat, celebrated all over the planet by its amateurs, is a grape variety of Languedoc. Natural sweet wine, dry muscat or sparkling, there is something for every taste. Guided tour of a cellar of Muscat with tasting, during which you will be explained its origin and the manufacturing process.
