In the heart of the authentic Champsaur valley, between Provence and the Alps, the hamlet of Laye is home to the Dairy of the Col Bayard, manufacturer of « Midi cheese » from France which has been able to perpetuate a traditional quality while respecting the fundamental rules of hygiene of manufacture and preservation.

In the afternoon, visit the Museum where tools, traditionally used by the master cheese makers of the past, are on display and will allow you to discover and better understand what was traditional cheese making in the first half of this century. You can of course also make your purchases of original cheeses.
